JKathryn Fulton is a writer and educator who is passionate about giving voice to underrepresented populations, identities, and experiences. Her writing often explores identity and trauma and the intersection of the two.
As an educator and leader, she has presented at workshops and conferences at the local, state, and national levels, including the NCTE annual convention and the ALAN Workshop, sharing approaches and resources for incorporating more voices in the ELA curriculum and helping students find and develop their own voices and tell their stories.
Fulton holds an MA in Literature from George Mason University and is pursuing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction at the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding University where she was recognized with the Emerging Writers Scholarship. Her work has been featured in Text Power Telling Magazine.
